Angora Goats bringing new life!
There are now 26 new Angora goat kidz
They are so adorable when they are born and especially when they start to play with their mates.

What is Boeretroos Guestfarm all about
Location
Boeretroos is a working Guestfarm situated between Sutherland and Calvinia in the Northern Cape and 25km drive from Middelpos.
We have Merino sheep, Angora Goats and lusern fields.
It’s lovely in the winter time and also lovely in the summer! In the summer everything is much greener especially the lusern fields with it’s small purple flowers.
Boeretroos is 92km from Sutherland and 85km from Calvinia.

Things to do in the winter:

The guesthouse has electricity, geyser, 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom has a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom (bath, basin and toilet) and the 2nd bedroom has 3 three-quarter beds.
Every bed has an electric blanket, bedding and a towel for each guest.
The house has a living area with a fireplace to keep you warm on those extra winter cold Karoo nights.
It also has a kitchen that makes you feel at home that you want to miss the old days sitting and eating with the family and telling stories around the kitchen table till late.
The kitchen is equipped with all the basic stuff to prepare your own meals with a gas stove, kettle, fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, basic utensils, cutlery, mugs, glasses, plates, pots and pans.
Guest stay will include a jug of milk, 2 teabags normal tea, 2 teabags rooibos tea, small pot of coffee, 2 homemade buttermilk rusks pppd, 2 bags of wood (1 for the indoor fireplace and 1 for the outdoor braai) , 10 liter filtered water and a bucket of ice.
Remember to fill up your tank at Sutherland/ Middelpos or Calvinia!!
Bring some cash with if you want to buy extra’s at our small tuck shop or extra wood etc.
Laundry service are available for R26/kg (wash, dry and fold), R34/kg (wash, dry and iron)
Cleaning- service also available for R40
There are a variety of meals (made with love) that you can pre-order before you arrive (just make sure to order 1 week in advance, we are 85 km from the nearest town to collect ingredients)
You can make your own braai-pack’s and breakfast meals just pick and let me know and I will quote a price and send it to you.
You can also provide us with a list of beverages that we can quote , especially for motorbiker’s that don’t have that much space.
If there is anything else that you would like us to provide and quote please do not hesitate and let us know and we will do our utmost best to try and satisfy your needs.
Pre-orders must also be 1 week in advance
Most of the farm doesn’t have cellphone signal, in case of emergency you are more than welcome to use our phone, or use our wi-fi in our home.
